I am absolutely in love with photography! I have so much fun with it. I was born and raised in Nevada County, California. I have been surrounded by nature’s beauty since birth, and I now pride myself as a photographer of that elemental majesty. My passion for the photographic arts started in my youth. It was one of my favorite activities while on family camping trips to national parks, to borrow my mom’s digital camera and take off on my own into the woods. I was usually on my bike, riding the trails and taking photos of whatever I felt was interesting to look at.
To me, photography isn’t just an act of pointing a camera and taking a picture. It is the magical ability to capture a beautiful moment in time and keeping it forever. I could go on about how amazing photography is, but, eh, I think you understand my point.
As you browse my site, you will see a wide range of subject matter. My artistic mind is all over the place wherever I go. Some of my photos are captured with my smartphone, others are done with my digital camera. One thing that makes me pull my camera out, is how I am seeing the subject. This subject could be a beautiful flower, or it could be a rusty fork, but I decided it looked like my next work of art, and I hope you feel that same way as you look at my work.
